Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the steel plate in molten zinc liquid, and through the reaction and diffusion between iron and zinc, a zinc alloy coating with good adhesion is formed on the surface of the steel plate. The process mainly includes three parts: pre-treatment, hot-dip galvanizing and post-treatment. Pre-treatment includes degreasing, pickling, water washing and plating assistance, which aims to remove impurities such as oil and rust on the surface of the steel plate and enhance the bonding strength between the coating and the substrate. Hot-dip galvanizing is the core link. After the steel plate is dipped in molten zinc liquid, a uniform zinc layer will be formed on the surface. Post-treatment includes cooling, passivation and inspection to improve the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of the coating.
